Fable:
The first brother traveled on for a week or more, and reaching a distant village, sought out a fellow wizard with whom he had a quarrel. Naturally, with the Elder Wand as his weapon, he could not fail to win the duel that followed. Leaving his enemy dead upon the floor, the oldest brother proceeded to the inn, where he boasted loudly of the powerful wand he had snatched from Death himself, and how it made him invincible.

That very night, another wizard crept upon the oldest brother as he lay, wine-sodden, upon his bed. The thief took the wand and, for good measure, slit the oldest brother's throat.

Personality:
He's insane, that's the easiest way to put it. He snaps, goes manic and barks at people saying hurtful things and hurting others on purpose. Antioch's arrogance is his worst enemy; it's what killed him, he always felt like he was invisible and could take on anything that was bigger than he was. He might even suggest he could kill a Dementor is it impressed someone, even if it was mostly a fib. Antioch, however, is no liar and doesn't condone lying about ones achievements, but exaggerating it is alright -- Gilderoy's would be unacceptable to him.

Just like all people he has another side to him, that is caring and more gentle. He's possessively protective of things he holds dear and those who make remind him of himself are also something that hits him hard. Antioch might be an asshole, but he's not heartless, not at all. He does like to push buttons to see how far you'd be willing to go, before he cracks and starts fooling around again.

a history

What's to say about the Peverells? Anything, really. The three boys came from Bromus and Hydra Peverell, a mediocre pureblood family. The first boy, Antioch was eldest and often the quickest, the second boy; Cadmus was the middle child and the most gentle and the last boy; Ignotus was the smartest. Although, while all the boys were smart, none were as clever-minded as Ignotus. However, this story isn't about him, it's about Antioch Peverell.

Antioch was like any other elder sibling, smart and often received harder punishments due to having to set and example for the younger boys. Bromus and Hydra brought the boys up in a comforting home with warm accents in the country, often allowing much room for three boys to grow and get in trouble. Bromus had a strange rule in the house to teach the boys integrity,"Do something wrong, you'll get whipped. Tell on each other, you'll get whipped." It was a pretty solid system, teaching the boys to work together rather than to whine to their parents about every single problem. There were also tons of other rules that excluded swearing, back talking and not coming home on time. Antioch was always the boy to push the limits of the rules, he liked to bend them to near shattering without breaking them.

He'd get his siblings in a group and they'd make up swear words, almost back talk and come home almost a minute late. Their childhood was something that most kids would die to have, Antioch at the front always causing mischief with his brothers and running about and pushing them, hurting them or getting on their nerves but wasn't EVER caught. And, just like every family with more than two children, their was always a favourite; Cadmus was Antioch's favourite because he often went along with Antioch's schemes where as Ignotus would always try to talk him out of it. It would continue until Antioch could turn old and grey, or so it seemed anyways.

Their childhood ended and Antioch was finally accepted to Hogwarts, he boasted and bragged about how great he was and often picked on his siblings of it. Antioch was amazed to go to school, even get himself a wand and even proved to be more clever than most of the children in his year. This young boy was so bright, it was no wonder he was placed in Ravenclaw. Some would call him one of the brightest students of his year, but his attitude was awful and he loved to brag about his achievements whether they be grades or something small. When he grew to the tender age of fifteen, he witnessed the death of his parents due to his father getting into some trouble with a few Wizards. The boy had watched the scene from the family's closet through the doorhole and was forever traumatized, but he remembered that it had something to do with a wand that was unbeatable. The boy never spoke about what happened and it wasn't until Ignotus' parents came by for a visit did they see him struggling to clean house and do something with the bodies. Antioch's anger was righteous and he would finish the work that his mother had planned to do, even if it killed him.

Antioch refused to move in with his uncle's or his grandfather, he felt it was his way to be alone. He felt like he didn't need anyone else. This wasn't a healthy sitaution for Antioch to be in as he didn't allow any sort of comfort and when he wasn't at school, he was working on his wand-making skills. He was going to get that bastard.

Antioch took up the responsibility for his two younger brothers who were greatfully in school while he was. His harsh and over protect ways about his younger siblings often created a mania in him and he often needed his two brothers to calm him down from such a things. The three of them had been so close that they'd go through anything together. The younger boys kept Antioch's rage under control which allowed him to think better, some could have called him a nutter. It wasn't until he'd got out of Hogwarts that he decided to become a wand-maker, saving only the best one, his mother's design, for himself.

The Elder Wand had many, many mess-up's before be managed to make one that wouldn't break. He completed this task first and his mania had ended, but his revenge didn't. Antioch was so set on finding this man that he spent years looking for him, only returning to his home when he felt that it was nearing summer. However, by the time he was twenty three, his brothers had finished specific items that they named "Deathly Hallows" Their closeness ended when they tried to convince Antioch that he shouldn't go after the men that killed thier parents, he was too young and would be defeated. That was his falling out.

Antioch eventually found the men, specifically the leader of the group who allowed the attack. He was most known for defeating and KILLING said person. However, he boasted on his many victories in the Inn on that day. He was found the next day with his throat slit and wand missing.placerat quis, elementum sit amet, sagittis eget, erat.
